The Young Wave is MNE’s outreach program that aims to provide children and teens between the ages of 4 and 18 with a better understanding of Movement Theater through a sequence of exercises and explorations focusing on different age-group sensibilities.
The goal of The Young Wave is to stimulate young students’ creativity by guiding them through a physical journey that nurtures, values and develops each student’s unique form of creativity and point of view.
The Wave Within! outreach programs are offered throughout the US and internationally in public and private schools, Universities, Community Centers and Arts Festivals.
The establishment of The Wave Center will propel the Organization’s outreach programs to the Woodside and Queens local community.
