IRENE "Tiger" CLARK

Story: I remember carrying a candle in the Hungarian Christmas pageant at age 3. I spent my childhood folk dancing at picnics, sites around New York City and even the Howdy Doody Show! I fell in love with ballet in my teens and despite many obstacles, rose to become a soloist, ran my own studio in Puerto Rico for 15 years and eventually started acting. I am a renaissance woman that wants to do it all! I am a licensed tour guide and a Dean at a Cross Dressing Academy, teach piano and created the show "Irene and I - TWO Irenes with FOUR DARK EYES" with my friend Irene Ziglina. I recently started teaching at the MSKCC nursery school, and just wrote "Tiger Tales - The Purrple tiger clan" for my grandson, Doran. I am a lead performer for playwright Lila Gilbert in the Sam French Festival.

Irene and MNE: My friend Irene Ziglina invited me to one of Mare Nostrum Elements workshops at NYU in 2003. I loved the work and I was both thrilled and honored when Nicola and Kevin invited me to join the group.
