MAYIA MINA'

Country: CYPRUS

Story: I started dancing when I was 5 in my hometown in Cyprus. When I finished school I moved to Athens-Greece where I got my diploma as a dance and ballet teacher at the Anna Petrova's professional dance school. During these years I danced with the r.a.d. Company for young dancers and also taught in some dance studios and kindergarten schools both in Athens. Dance brought me to New York last September where I entered the Martha Graham school of Contemporary Dance where I still study.

Mayia and MNE: I discovered MNE when they were looking for a ''Greek person'' for their work in progress performance at HERE and since I am that "kind of person" I decided to participate to the showcase. I loved and enjoyed working with them all so I stayed on and .here I am.
