Story: As a child, growing up on a dirt road in a small town in Southern
Vermont, I was challenged by the lack of things to do. With no immediate
neighbors to play with, my family became the audience to many magic
shows, mini-plays and living room talent shows. This is when I really
developed my imagination as rocks in the field were transformed into
space ships and cows were alien intruders. Fortunately, there are many
artistic outlets in southern Vermont if you know where to look. As a teen, I
busied myself with dance classes, plays, classical trumpet and The Weston
Playhouse. At The Weston playhouse I spent many summers learning the
craft of the stage. I was the "local boy" who would do anything for the
show. I had the pleasure to work with really wonderful New York actors at
a very young age. I currently live in New York City where, besides serving
as co-director for MNE, I study Acting with Fred Kareman and pursue
acting and directing.
I am a graduate of the Boston Conservatory where I studied Theater with
a minor in acting and dance. Here is where I began my training in
Movement Theater with Erica Batdorf. While in Boston, I was thrilled to be
on the faculty of The Jeannette Neil Dance Studio and Leon Collins Tap
Studio. After college I made the big move to New York City and began
working as an actor. My professional credits include European Tours of
West Side Story and My Fair Lady starring Richard Chamberlain and the
National Tour of West Side Story playing the role of Bernardo with
choreography by Jerome Robbins. Most recently I directed the one-man
show Up, Up, and Away and performed in "The Money
Shot 2 - Here we come again" by Chris Andersson.
