ALAN FORBES

Country: UNITED KINGDOM

Story: I am a performing artist, born and educated in the U.K. After spending many years working as an engineer in Germany, I left for New York in September of 2000 to study modern dance, in particular Limon Technique. I am a faculty member of the Susan Klein School of Movement and Dance, and I am participating in the Klein teacher certification program. Currently I am working with Anabella Lenzu and Sokolow Theater Dance Ensemble. I would like to thank my teachers Jim May, Alan Danielson for their continuous support and inspiration.

Alan and MNE: Mare Nostrum Elements discovered me during one of the earliest workshops in 2002. I guess that’s when I joined the group.
